FENI, Nov 17, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion in a drive arrested a man with 30 gold bars worth Taka 2.10 crore from Rampur in the district today.
The arrested was identified as Nurul Islam.
Assistant Police Superintendent of RAB-7 Junaid Jahedi said this while conducting a press conference in the town around 4 pm.
Being informed, a team of the RAB-7 held a private car in Rampur area on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway at about 1 pm and recovered the gold bars after searching the car, he said.
They detained Nurul Islam from the spot and a case is being processed to file in this connection, Junaid Jahedi added.
