DNCC starts week-long mosquito eradication program at hospitals
DHAKA, Nov 15, 2020 (BSS) – A week-long special mosquito eradication program was launched at different hospitals under Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) today.
Besides, special mosquito eradication campaign has also been started at nurseries under DNCC area.
On the first day, mosquito eradication activities were carried out in and around the premises of 47 hospitals in Dhaka North, said a press release.
During the program, larvicide (mosquito larvae pesticide) and adulticide (adult mosquito pesticide) were sprayed from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Mosquito breeding grounds were identified and destroyed during the drive.
