Mayor Lokman, true follower of Bangbandhu – Majid
NARSINGDI,Nov,15 (BSS)- Industries Minister Advocate Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun has paid rich tributes to the memories of late mayor of Narsingdi Lokman Hossain and termed him as a true politician and tested follower of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
‘The political contribution of Lokman Hossain, his honesty and devotion to the party would ever be remembered’ , the minister said this while addressing a concluding day of 14- day programme held in observance of the 9th death anniversary of former Narsingdi mayor Lokman Hossain at district Awami league office premises last evening.
Lokman Hossain Smriti Parishad organized the programme which was presided over by the President of Town Awami League and Mayor of Narsingdi municipality Kamruzzaman Kamrul.
The function was addressed among others by member of Awami League Central Committee Reazul Kabir Kawsar, , Johirul Hoque Mohan MP, Anwarul Ashraf Khan Dilip MP, Tamanna Nushrat Bubli MP also wife of late Mayor Lokman Hossain, General Secretary of Narsingdi District Awami League and Chairman of Narsingdi Zilla parishad Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, President of Bangladesh Tanti League Central Committee Engineer Sawkat Ali ,Vice President of Narsingdi district Awami League GM Taleb Hossain and Organizing Secretary Anwar Hossain.
