CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 15, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 512 bottles of phensidyl from Shibganj upazila in the district last night.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Ismail Hossain, 25 of Ranihati village under Nayalabhanga union in Shibganj upazila of the district.
RAB said, acting on a tip off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided a mango orchard in Ranihati Chamarhat area under Nayalabhanga union of the upazila around 10.20 pm and arrested Ismail with the phensidyl.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the Shibganj police station.
A case was lodged in this connection.
