FARIDPUR, Nov 14, 2020 (BSS) – The world Diabetic Day was observed today as elsewhere across the country with a call for raising massive awareness about the disease.
Faridpur Diabetic Samity (NDS) observed the day through various programmes which included bringing out colourful rally and discussion meeting.
As part of the programs, a colourful rally was brought out to make the people conscious about the disease.
Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarker inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.
Professor Dr ASM Jahangir Chowdhury Tito, professor Sheikh Abdus Samad, Professor Rabindra Nath Saha, Professor Md. Shajahan, Md Shajahan Molla, Chitto Ranjan Ghosh, Dr Md Zahirul Islam Mia, Dr. Moslemuddin, among others, attended the rally.
A discussion meeting was also held at Diabetic Association Medical College Hospital (DAMCH).
