Alleged drug peddler held with hemp in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 14, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 6.2-kg hemp from Shibganj upazila in the district last night.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Tohurul Islam, 36 of Hadinagar Kamartola village under Shyampur union of Shibganj upazila in the district.
RAB said, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp on detective information conducted a raid at Raninagar Hatatpara village under Monakasha union of the upazila around 7.30 pm yesterday and arrested Zohurul with the hemp.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the local police station.
A case was also recorded in this connection.
