Ali Raji appointed as GCA Dhaka regional director
DHAKA, Nov 13, 2020 (BSS) – Ahmed Shamin Ali Raji, additional
secretary of the Environment, Forest and Climate Change Ministry, has
been appointed as the Dhaka regional director of Global Centre on
Adaptation (GCA).
The GCA and the Bangladesh government jointly appointed him as the
Dhaka regional director. The ministry issued a circular to this end
today.
Raji will work under supervision of the secretary of the ministry
and GCA chief executive officer.
On September 8, 2020, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the
GCA regional office of South-East Asia located in Dhaka.
