DHAKA, Nov 11, 2020 (BSS) – The 11th meeting of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Education was held at the Sangsad Bhaban today.
The meeting discussed in detail the ‘Madrasa Board Education Bill, 2020’ and the committee decided to present a report in the National Assembly subject to necessary amendments, said a press release here.
The meeting was chaired by committee member Fazle Hossain Badshah, as committee chairman Md Afsarul Amin was not present at the meeting.
Committee members Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Deputy Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, MA Matin and Golam Kibria Tipu attended the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Chairman of the Madrasa Education Board, senior officials of the Ministry and concerned officials of the Secretariat of the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad.
