6 drug-peddlers held with heroin, yaba in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Nov 11, 2020 (BSS)- Law-enforcing agencies in different drives arrested six alleged drug-peddlers including a woman and her son with 4.14 kilograms of heroin and 7,318 pieces of yaba tablets in Rajshahi and Chapainawabganj districts in the past 24 hours.
A RAB team arrested one Durul Huda, 35, with 1.98 kilograms of heroin from Beliaghata area under Godagari Upazila in the district and another police team nabbed one Sumon Ali, 38, with two kilograms of heroin from Kathalbariapara area under Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj.
A RAB team arrested Jahid Hassan, 28, with 6,718 yaba tablets from Talaimary area under Matiher police station in Rajshahi city, while a police team arrested one Abul Kalam, 55, with 600 yaba pills from Premtali area under Godagari Upazila.
A team of the Department of Narcotics Control detained Nurun Nahar Begum, 42, along with her son Nasir Uddin, 24, with 160 grams of heroin from their residences at Mohishalbari area under Godagari Upazila.
