Over 1cr people get benefit of land mutation a year
DHAKA, Nov 11, 2020 (BSS) – Land Secretary Md Muksodur Rahman Patwary said over one crore people will directly get benefit from land mutation and registration service every year.
Land secretary made the remarks while addressing a meeting held at the conference room of the land ministry here today, said a press release.
He expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for kindly approving the land mutation and registration coordination activities.
Describing Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury as a technology-oriented minister, the land secretary said, “Under his leadership, the land ministry is playing an important role in implementing the government’s vision 2021 and vision 2041.”
Senior officials of various levels of the land ministry attended the meeting, the release said.
The cabinet yesterday approved the proposal of the land ministry on Process of Automated Mutation and Record Correction.
The land mutation will be completed automatically within eight days after the completion of registration in this process, which is a joint initiative of Ministry of Land and Ministry of Law in collaboration with a2I.
Now this work is going on in 17 upazilas of the country. It will be launched across the country.
