Vietnam records 11 new COVID-19 cases, 1,226 in total

HANOI, Nov. 10, 2020 (BSS/XINHUA) — Vietnam reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 infection on Tuesday, bringing its total confirmed cases to 1,226 with 35 deaths from the viral disease so far, according to the Ministry of Health.

The new cases, including Russian, German and Vietnamese nationals, recently entered the country from abroad and were quarantined upon arrival, said the ministry.

As many as 1,087 COVID-19 patients in the country have been given all-clear as of Tuesday. Meanwhile, over 15,400 people were being quarantined and monitored, the ministry said.

Vietnam has gone through 69 straight days without any new COVID-19 cases in the community, according to the ministry.
