6 police officers promoted to additional IGP
DHAKA, Nov 9, 2020 (BSS) – Six senior police officers of the rank of deputy inspector general (DIG) have been promoted to additional inspector general of police (Addl IGP).
The home ministry issued a notification in this regard today.
The promoted police officers are – Addl IGP (Current Charge) Police Headquarters Ibrahim Fatemy and Addl IGP (Current Charge) Police Headquarters SM Ruhul Amin, Addl IGP (Current Charge) Highway Police Unit Mallick Fakhrul Islam, DIG of Special Branch (SB) Mazharul Islam, DIG of Bangladesh Police Academy, Sarda, Rajshahi Golam Faruk and Addl IGP (Current Charge) Anti-Terrorism Unit Md Kamrul Ahsan.
