162 digital services launched at Water Resources Ministry
DHAKA, Nov 8, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Water Resources Zahid Farooq today inaugurated 162 digital services with a view to modernizing the system of the ministry.
“In just two weeks, 162 services of the ministry have been digitalized, which is a landmark achievement in digital advancement, in the ‘Mujib Year’. It is a gift from the Ministry of Water Resources,” he said.
He said this as the chief guest speaking at the inauguration programme held at the conference hall of the ministry, said a press release.
“Our digital services will be further enhanced in the future, as the digital services continue to move forward under the leadership and guidance of the Prime Minister,” he said.
“I hope that by 2021 we will be Digital Bangladesh and by 2041 we will be a prosperous country,” he added.
Senior Secretary of the Ministry Kabir Bin Anwar presided over the programme while State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak, Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim and Senior Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology NM Ziaul Alam were present, among others.
