GAIBANDHA, Nov 08, 2020 (BSS) – Police in a drive arrested a person with 47 bottles of phensidyl from a passenger bus in front of Badhon petrol pump of Gobindaganj upazila town in the district last night.
The arrestee was identified as Jahurul Islam, 21, from Tekhra Diyash in Nababganj thana of Dinajpur.
Police said, acting on a tip-off, a team of Gobindaganj Thana police halted a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of Hanif Paribahan coming from Dinajpur in the area at around 12.35 am and searched it.
At one stage, the police team found 47phensidyl bottles wrapped in a luggage of the arrested passenger.
A case was filed in this connection.
