Hasan Imam emerges unbeaten champion
DHAKA, Nov 7, 2020 (BSS) – Hasan Imam emerged unbeaten champion in the 3rd UCCC Online Classic Chess tournament that concluded on Friday night, said a press release today.
He secured seven points from seven matches to clinch the title while Ajmain Parvez Sayor, Belal Hossain and Anisuzzaman finished second, third and fourth position respectively with 5-5 points from the same number of matches after their places were decided by tiebreaking system.
Besides, Sihab Tanim, SM Tareq, Moniruzzaman Aminul Islam finished fifth to eighth position respectively with five points while Kazi Afnan Rounok and Rotonjoy placed at ninth and tenth position with 4.5 points respectively.
The tournament, which was organised by Uttara Central Chess Club, participated by sixty-four local and foreign chess players.
