National Cooperatives Day observed in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, Nov 7, 2020(BSS)- The 49th National Cooperatives Day -2020 was observed in the district with a call for strengthening cooperative movement in the society to lead the country towards desired development.
This year, the theme of the day is ‘Philosophy of Bangabanddhu , Development in Cooperatives’ .
District administration and District Cooperatives office have jointly observed the day in a befitting manner .
A discussion meeting on importance of the day was held at Zila parished hall room where Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Mannan addressed the function as chief guest with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC revenue) Azad Zahan was in the chair.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sariful Islam attended it special guest.
It was addressed among others, by sadar Upazila Chairman Amirul Islam, Vice-Chairman of sadar upazila parished Kaji Al- Tarek, Cooperatives Officer Mamun Kabir gave address of welcome.
A total of 37 Cooperative members were present in the discussion meeting.
