2 held with 841 bottles of phensidyl in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 7, 2020 (BSS): Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 841 bottles of contraband Indian phensidyl from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila in the small hours of today.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Abul Hossain, 28 and Md. Masud Rana, 30 residents of Bisnapur village under Cumilla sadar upazila .
A team of RAB-5 from Rajshahi Mollapara camp on a tip off, halted a truck at Shahibag area in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila at around 12-45 am and after search found the phensidyl bottles .
RAB arrested the aforesaid inmates of the truck and handed them over to Chapainawabganj sadar thana police .
A case was also recorded with the police in this connection
