MOULVIBAZAR, Nov 5, 2020 (BSS) – Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin today laid foundation stones of two bridges over the Juri River in Juri Upazila of the district.
Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) will construct both the bridges at the Koyla Ghat point and Brindar Ghat point at a cost of around Taka 8.22 crore.
Shahab Uddin also inaugurated newly constructed 82-meter ‘Jangiray’ bridge on the Raznagar-Kulaura-Juri-Borolakha regional highway in Juri Upazila. Roads and Highways Department (RHD) constructed the bridge at a cost of Taka 12 crore.
Addressing the inaugural function, he said whenever Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina stays in state power, the country sees unprecedented development and progress.
Under her dynamic leadership, mega projects are being implemented for the betterment of the people, he added.
