Two held with yaba, heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 5, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh
(BGB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 1,530 pieces of yaba tablet and
685 grams of heroin from Shibganj frontier area.
The arrestees are Shamim, 30, of Bholamari village and Morshedul Islam, 32,
of Chanpur village under Shibganj upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of BGB 59 battalion from Chakpara
border outpost raided frontier Bholamari Chanpur area under Shibganj upazila
in the district around 11:30 pm on Wednesday and arrested the duo with the
yaba and heroin.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police station.
A case was also lodged with the police station in this connection.
