Drug-trader jailed for 15 months in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Nov 3, 2020 (BSS)- A court here today sentenced one person to 15 months jail on charge of drug-trading.
Judicial Magistrate Uzzal Mahmud found Muhammad Shaheen alias Sabbir Hossain, 25, son of Emran Hossain of Gochar village under Bagha Upazila guilty and convicted him.
The court also fined him TK 500, in default to suffer three months more behind the bar.
The prosecution story is in brief that police arrested Sabbir Hossain with 15 pieces of yaba tablets on August 24, 2018.
The court handed down the verdict after examining depositions of six prosecution witnesses and other relevant evidence.
