1 held with 19,350 yaba pill in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 2, 2020 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 19,350 pieces of yaba tablet from Shibganj upazila of the district this afternoon.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Shaon, 22, a resident of Rashiknagar Ghatipara under Chatrajitpur union of Shibganj upazila.
A team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp on secret information, raided a mango orchard at Radhanagar 76 bighi village under Binodpur union of Shibganj upazila in the district at around 3 pm and arrested Shaon with said yaba tablets, RAB officials said.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to Shibganj police
A case was lodged with the police station in this connection, the sources added.
