DHAKA, Nov 2, 2020 (BSS) – A webinar titled ‘Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and IT based Bangladesh’ was held at Dhaka University (DU) marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering of DU organized the webinar through virtual platform, said a press release here today.
DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Dr Mohammad Samad addressed the webinar as chief guest while honorary professor of DU Mathematics department Dr Muhammad Mubarak Hossain was present as special guest.
Chairman of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering department Dr. Shamim Ahmed Deowan gave the welcome speech in the webinar.
Founder chairman of the department Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu, Professor Lafifa Jamal, Associate Professor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Nuzhat Chowdhury and Managing Director of Datasoft Systems Bangladesh Limited Mahbub Zaman were present on the occasion.
