3 traders fined for higher price of potato sale in Gobindaganj
GAIBANDHA, Nov 02, 2020(BSS)- A team of National Consumers’ Rights Protection Directorate (NCRP) fined three potato traders TK 30,000 at Gobindaganjupazila town in the district on Sunday for selling potato at higher prices.
Official sources said, a team of NCRP at the directive of Director General of NCRP Bablu Kumar Saha and Deputy Commissioner(DC) of Gaibandha, Abdul Matin conducted the drives at Gobindaganjupaizla town Bazar and fined three potato traders for selling potato at higher prices than the price fixed by the government.
The team penalized the traders under The Consumers’ Rights Protection Act-2009. .
Assistant director of NCRP Abdus Salam conducted the drives in association with the members of the RAB.
