Hasan condoles death of CDA ex-chairman Salam’s mother
DHAKA, Nov 1, 2020 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound
shock and sorrow at the death of Mabia Khatun, mother of former chairman of Chattogram
Development Authority (CDA) and Awami League Chattogram unit treasurer Abdus Salam.
In a condolence message, Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for
eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Mabia Khatun died of old-age complications at a hospital in Chattogram last night at the
age of 90.
She was buried at their family grave yard after a Namaz-e-Janaza on Mohara Baitul Jame
Mosque premises in Chattogram.
