Planning Ministry’s IMED secures 1st position in APA implementation
DHAKA, July 5, 2018 (BSS) – Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) of the Ministry of Planning has secured the first position among all ministries and divisions in implementing the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) 2016-17.
In recognition to this success, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina awarded the IMED at a ceremony of APA-2018 at Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday, said an official release here today.
Besides, IMED Secretary Md Mafizul Islam received the ‘Integrity Award-2017-18’ under the National Integrity Strategy, the release added.
As per the directives of Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and State Minister M A Mannan, for the first time, the IMED completed 100 percent monitoring of the total 1410 projects, the release said, adding that it also achieved 100 percent essential strategic goals of the APA, ministry and the division.
