PM mourns death of Haider Anwar Khan Juno
DHAKA, Nov 1, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the demise of progressive political personality and valiant freedom fighter Haider Anwar Khan Juno.
In a message of condolence, the premier said the nation will always recall with due respect Juno’s contribution to the country’s progressive and liberal politics and culture.
The prime minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Juno passed away at the capital’s Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital at around 1:30 pm on Thursday (October 39). He was 76.
