Coaching staffs, skipper of national team tested negative for COVID-19
DHAKA, Oct. 30, 2020 (BSS)- Foreign coaching staffs of Bangladesh national football team Jamie Day, Stuart Paul Watkiss, Les Cleevely, captain Jamal Bhuyan and player Tariq Kazi have received confirmation today that they have tested negative for coronavirus.
Skipper Jamal Bhuyan, who arrived from Denmark on Thursday last, joined the team’s practice session today at the Bangabandhu National stadium (BNS).
National football team’s head coach Jamie Day arrived on the same day from UK to join the ongoing national team’s training camp ahead of the Fifa friendlies against Nepal.
Along with the head coach Day, two other foreign coaching staff — goalkeeping coach Les Cleevely and assistant coach Stuart Watkiss — also arrived in the country.
Bangladesh national football team is scheduled to play two international friendlies against Nepal on November 13 and 17 at BNS.
