DHAKA, Oct 30, 2020 (BSS) – Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, said a met office release here today.
Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Noakhali, Cumilla and Chattogram. It persists over Cox’s Bazar region and it may withdraw during next 24 hours. Monsoon is fairly active over Cox’s Bazar region and weak to moderate over North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 35.5 degree Celsius at Madaripur and lowest temperature today was recorded by 17.2 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
