DHAKA, July 5, 2018 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers
accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes are likely to occur
at many places over the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
It may occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and
Chattogram divisions, at a few places over Khulna, Barishal and Dhaka
divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi division with moderately
heavy to heavy falls at places over the country during the period, said a met
office press release here today.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country during the
period, the release added.
The maximum temperature was recorded 32.7 degrees Celsius yesterday at
Bogura and today’s minimum temperature was 24.3 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded
200 mm at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 6:50 pm today and rises at 5:16 am tomorrow in the
capital.
