Experts for making corporate valuation report based on ethical values
DHAKA, Oct 29, 2020 (BSS) – Experts at a webinar here today underscored the
need for making corporate valuation report in the country based on
ethical and moral values as it is a process and a set of procedures
used to estimate the economic value of an owner’s interest in the
business.
They also talked about the change of corporate business during
pandemic turning to e-business rather than traditional business.
They made the observation at the webinar on ‘Corporate Valuation
Reports for Startups’, organised by the merchant bankers in Bangladesh,
said a press release.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Asian Finance Corporation (AFC)
Capital Limited and Member of the Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Mahbub
Hossain Majumder attended the programme as the chief guest while Dr
Souvik Banerjee of the Management Development Institute, Murshidabad,
India presented the key note paper.
Programme Coordinator of the Dhaka School of Economics Professor Dr
Muhammad Mahboob Ali presided over the meeting.
Among others, assistant professors of the Dhaka School of economics
Rehana Parvin and Sara Tasneem and President of the Entrepreneurial
Economists Club Ummen Nahar Azmee also spoke on this occasion.
