DHAKA, Oct 28, 2020 (BSS) – Marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, National Defense College (NDC) today inaugurated a ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ to pay tributes to the Father of the Nation.
The Corner features a portrait of Bangabandhu along with books and photos on the life and works of the Father of the Nation, said a press release.
Commandant of NDC Lieutenant General Sheikh Mamun Khaled inaugurated the ‘Bangabandhu Corner’, 1st issue of NDC E-Journal website and unwrapped a special NDC Journal.
A separate section inside the NDC library has also been decorated with significant pictures, books and other documents related to Bangabandhu.
Speaking on the occasion, Lieutenant General Sheikh Mamun said the Bangabandhu corner was established as part of paying rich tributes to Bangabandhu. The special journal has been published to pay homage to the great leader.
The Bangabandhu Corner will help project the ideology of Bangabandhu for the future generation, he added.
All Faculty Members and staff officers of NDC were present on the occasion.
