33 Lakshmipur journalists get support from PM’s fund
LAKSHMIPUR, Oct 28, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 33 journalists, who passed hard time because of the coronavirus outbreak in the district, today received Taka 10,000 each as financial support from Prime Minister’s special fund.
On this occasion, the district administration organised a cheque distribution programme at its office with the help of Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mohammad Safiuzzaman Bhuiyan presided over the programme while Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anjan Chandra Pal was the chief guest.
Additional Police Super Mongnethoai Marma, district Awami League General Secretary Nur Uddin Choudhury Nayon and Laksmipur Press Club President Hossain Ahmed Helal were present, among others.
