Youth killed in Kushtia road accident
DHAKA, Oct 26, 2020 (BSS) – A young boy was killed while his father severely injured as their motor-cycle was hit by a truck in Battail area of Kushtia town on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Mehedi, 25, son of Sharif Uddin, 56.
Officer-in-Charge of Kushtia Model Police Station Kamruzzaman Talukdar said the father and son were going to KNB Agro Industries and on the way a truck knocked down their motor-cycle killing Mehedi on the spot.
Sharif Uddin was admitted to Kushtia hospital in critical condition, the OC added.
Police seized the truck and the dead body was sent to the Kushtia 250-bed General Hospital morgue.
