A mason electrocuted in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, Oct 25, 2020 (BSS) –A construction worker was electrocuted at Singair Upazila Sadar today .
The victim was identified as Md. Habibur Rahman, 55, son of Abdus Sabur of Ullapara upazila of Sirajgonj district.
Police and locals said the incident occurred when the victim came in touch with a live electric wire while he was constructing a house.
The critically wounded construction worker was rushed to Singair Upazila Health Complex where on duty doctors declared him dead..
Md. Rokibuzzaman, Officer-in-Charge (OC), Singair police station said the body of the deceased was sent to Manikganj 250 bed district hospital for autopsy.
