Journalist AUM Fakhruddin laid to eternal rest at Rayerbazar Intellectual Graveyard
DHAKA, Oct 25, 2020 (BSS) – Veteran journalist AUM Fakhruddin was laid to eternal rest at Rayerbazar Intellectual Graveyard this morning.
Confirming the matter to BSS, Fakhruddin’s wife Mamtaz Bilkis Banu, a senior journalist herself, said the burial took place at around 9.30 am after his namaz-e-janaza.
Senior Journalist AUM Fakhruddin died of Covid-19 at Kurmitola General Hospital in the city on Saturday night. He was 75.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
AUM Fakhruddin worked at Bangladesh Times, The Independent, The Telegraph, Weekly Holiday and some other newspapers.
