BSPA Sports Carnival to begin Tuesday
DHAKA, Oct. 24, 2020 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) Sports Carnival will begin from Tuesday (October 27) with badminton discipline at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city.
Nearly about hundred members of BSPA will take part in the nine events of six disciplines, organised by BSPA.
The disciplines are carom singles and doubles, table tennis singles and doubles, badminton singles and doubles, chess, shooting and archery. All the matches will be held at different venues adjoining the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
As always this time the Abdul Mannan Ladu trophy and cash prize will be handed over to the best sportsman of the sports carnival.
In this regard, a press conference was held today at the conference room of BNS to provide all the details of the meet.
BSPA senior vice president Parag Arman, BSPA general secretary Sudipto Ahmod Anando, BSPA sub-committee’s chairman Kazi Shohidul Alam and member secretary Rashida Afzalunnessa, were among others, also present in the press conference.
