PM-MEETING-AGRI PRODUCTION
PM chairs meeting on agri production, stock
DHAKA, Oct 22, 2020 (BSS) – A meeting on the country’s agriculture production and stock was held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair at her Ganabhaban residence here this morning.
The meeting especially reviewed the upcoming Aman season in the wake of the flood situation.
It also discussed the issue of accelerating the implementation of 21 stimulus packages announced by the government to offset the COVID-19 fallout.
The prime minister gave various directives after reviewing overall issues.
Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzak, Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Mazumdar, Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir, PM’s Principal Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, Senior Secretary of the Finance Ministry Abdur Rauf Talukdar, Agriculture Secretary Md Mesbahul Islam, Food Secretary Dr Mosammat Nazmanara Khanum and PMO Secretary Md Tofazzal Hossain Mian were present on the occasion, among others.
