‘Mujib Barsho’ Fed. Cup Taekwondo inaugurated
DHAKA, Oct 22, 2020 (BSS) – ‘Mujib Barsho’ Federation Cup Taekwondo competition formally inaugurated today (Thursday) at Mohammadpur Taekwondo Club in the city.
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) president Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal formally inaugurated the two-day meet as the chief guest, organised by BTF.
Besides, BTF general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana and other federation’s officials were also present in the opening ceremony.
A total of 150 poomsae participants from ten teams, including Border Guard Bangladesh, Ansar and Bangladesh Police are taking part in the competition which the BTF has arranged to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The closing ceremony of the competition will be held on Friday (October 23) with Nurul Hasan Faridi, deputy director general of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, is expected to present as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
