MANIKGANJ, Oct 22, 2020 (BSS) –Three persons including a driver were killed and 12 others injured in an accident on Hemayetpur-Manikganj Regional High Way today.
Rokibuzzaman, Officer-in Charge (OC), Singair said the accident occurred at about 1.30 pm near at Binodpur area under Singair Upazila of the district when a Gabtoli bound passenger bus coming from Harirampur fell into road side ditch after lost its control.
The deceased were identified as Anwara Khatun, 50, driver of the bus, Hridoy Mia , 28 and Nikhilesh, 36 a pedestrian.
Thee three persons died on the spot, police and eyewitnesses said .
The injured were admitted to Singair Upazila Health Complex.
