Two killed in Ramu hill collapse
COX’S BAZAR, Oct 21, 2020 (BSS) – Two people died in a hill collapse at Ukhiarghona area of Ramu upazila in Cox’s Bazar last night.
The incident took place around 2.00am while they were cutting the hill.
The deceased were identified as Oli Ahamod, 35, and Mujibur Rahman, 32. Both were the residents at Ukhiarghona School Para.
On information, police recovered their bodies with the help of local people this morning.
Officer-in-Charge of Ramu Thana Md Ajmiruzzaman said the bodies were sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Pronoy Chakma visited the spot.
