Minor girls drown in Subarnachar
NOAKHALI, Oct 21, 2020 (BSS) – Two minor girls drowned in a pond at Poshchim Char Jabbar village in Suboarnachar upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased were identified as Sweety, 4, daughter of one Belal Hossain and Farjana, 5, daughter of Giashuddin. Both were the residents of the village.
Char Jabbar Union Parishad Chairman Toriqul Islam said Sweety and Farjana drowned in the pond close to their house around 11 am while playing beside the waterbody. Belal Hossain found their bodies in the pond.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Char Jabbar Thana Shaed Uddin confirmed the incident.
