DHAKA, Oct 21, 2020 (BSS) – Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattrogram and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur division.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, a met office release said here today.
A low has formed over central part of Bay of Bengal and it now lies over West-central Bay and adjoining East-central Bay. It is likely to intensify. Monsoon axis runs through West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and strong over North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 35.2 degree Celsius jointly at Mymensingh, Bogura and Sayedpur and lowest temperature today was recorded by22.2 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
Highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded by 15millimeters (mm) at Mongla.
