GAIBANDHA, Oct 19, 2020 (BSS)- Kamarjani Union Digital Center (UDC) has been providing e-services campaign to the people of the union and its surroundings areas of the district since October 11 on Mujib Year.
Marking the e-services campaign on Mujib Year, the birth centenary of Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Kamarjani UDC has been providing various e-services to the people with a minimum cost.
The theme of the campaign is “Barchhe Sebar Bohor, Gram Hobe Shahar”.
The e-services include medical visa, appointment of the doctors, mobile banking, agriculture information service, mutation, pre haj registration, filing general diary with thanas, results of examinations, application for jobs, admission to various universities, national ID card correction, and online course for open reading, video call with the expatriate near and dear ones, doing photocopy, birth registration, various account opening and cash Taka deposit and withdrawal.
Beside this, the digital center has been conducting awareness meeting on the e-services being provided by the digital center.
On Saturday, a congregation of the females at the arrangement of the UDC was held on the ground of Kamarjani Merchants’ High School.
Local UP chairman Abdus Salam Zakir formally addressed the meeting as the chief guest. UP members Abu TalebAkanda, Maju Ahmed, sub assistant agriculture officer of the DAE Mokbul Hossain Sarker, head teacher of the school Faruqul Islam and UP secretary Md. Sarwar Hossain addressed the congregation, among others, while entrepreneur of the digital center Mahabubur Rahman moderated the function.
