Khasru for ecological balance and bio-diversity
NETRAKONA Oct 18, 2020 (BSS)—-State Minister For Social Welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru today said present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken many pragmatic steps to protect the country’s ecological balance and bio-diversity from the impact of climate changing situation.
“The government under the far-sighted leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has undertaken many time- befitting programmes including tree plantation programmes to keep the balance of environment and save bio-diversity from the climate change effect” he said.
Khasru said this while addressing as chief guest at a discussion meeting on “Role of Media to Sensitize People to Prevent Impact of Climate Changing Situation” held at Netrakona press club here.
Jono Uddug, a voluntary organization of Netrakona district organized the meeting.
Chaired by freedom fighter Haider Jahan Chowdhury , the meeting was addressed, among others, by Vice President of Netrakona Press Club Kandaker Anisur Rahman, General Secretary of district Mohila Parishad Taheza Begum, General Secretary of Netrakona Press Club Shyamolendu Paul, District Correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), M Faqrul Haque, Former President of district Udichi Shilpi Gustee Mustafijur Rahman and journalist Anisur Rahman.
