DHAKA, Oct 18, 2020 (BSS) – The 6th session of the 19th Council of Bangladesh Press Council (BPC) was held on Saturday morning at its conference room in the city’s Segunbagicha.
During the meeting, prayers were offered seeking quick recovery of Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Planning Minister MA Mannan and member of the council Abdul Matin Khasru, said a press release here today.
Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice Md. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Among others, member of the council DBC News chairman Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Director General of Bangla Academy Habibullah Siraji, Acting Editor of Daily Sangbad Khandokar Muniruzzaman, CEO of Gazi TV and Vice President of BFUJ Syed Ishtiaq Reza, Joint Secretary of BFUJ Abdul Majid, Executive Member of BFUJ Noor-E-Jannat Shima and Secretary of the council joint secretary Md Shah Alam were present at the meeting.
