Anti rape and repression bit policing rally held in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Oct 17, 2020(BSS): Chapainawabganj district police arranged a bit policing procession and a grand rally against rape and women repression today.
The procession began from the office of the Superintendent Of Police (SP) at 10-30 am and culminated at Chapainawabganj Club After parading important roads of the town.
Additional SP (Administration) Md. Mahbub Alam Khan presided over the rally and commandant of Rajshahi Range Reserve Force Sheikh Md. Mizanur Rahman attended it as chief guest.
Among others, Vice President of the Chapainawabganj district unit of Awami League freedom fighter Ruhul Amin, Executive Director of non-government organisation Proyas Manabik Unnayan Society and also the editor of a local daily ‘Dainik Gour Bangla’ Hasib Hossain and Lecturer in English of Shah Neamotullah College Nawsabah Nawrin Neha aslo spoke on the occasion.
The speakers stressed the need for extension of the bit policing service to the people of all walks of life .
