RAB arrests one with firearms in city
DHAKA, Oct 16, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), the anti-crime elite force, has arrested an arms dealer along with a home-made shotgun , four rounds of ammunition and two mobile phones during a raid in Jamdanihat area under Demra Police Station in the capital.
The arrested person was Mohammad Nadeem, 33, son of Mostafa Chali, hailing from Beparakandi under Sakhipur police station of Shariatpur district.
Additional DIG and also captain of RAB-10 Kaiyumuzzaman Khan confirmed this to BSS saying that a team of RAB-10 raided the Jamdanihat area around 12 midnight on Thursday and arrested Nadeem.
Legal action was taken against the arrested person with the respective police station.
