DHAKA, Oct 16, 2020 (BSS) – Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, a Met office release said here today.
Monsoon trough lies over Bihar to Assam across West Bengal and central part of Bangladesh. Another trough of low lies over North Bay. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 36.5 degree celsius at Tarash under Rajshahi division and minimum temperature today was recorded by 22.6 degree celsius at Tetulia.
Highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded by 49millimeters (mm) at Mongla.
