DHAKA, Oct 14, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan, MP today said Former Presidium Member of Awami League (AL) Mohammed Nasim was a ‘bright star’ in country’s political history.
“The leader dedicated his entire life for the welfare of the country and the nation. Foresight, wisdom and political skills gave him a unique position in country’s politics,” said Murad.
He said, “People will recall the tremendous contribution of Nasim, which he made for the welfare and development of the country and nation..his name will be written in golden letters in the history of Bangladesh.”
His death was an irreparable loss for the country, nation and Awami League, which cannot be met, he added.
He was addressing as the chief guest at a mourning discussion remembering former AL leader Mohammad Nasim, organised by Bangabandhu Academy at Jatiya Press Club here today.
Advisor of the organisation Chittaranjan Das presided over the program while Former AL General Secretary Dhaka south city Shah Alam Murad and Kamal Ahmed, among others, were present on the occasion.
