DHAKA, Oct 14, 2020 (BSS) – Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, a met office said here today.
The deep depression over the West-central Bay and adjoining area crossed north Andhra coast of India, weakened into a depression and now lies over Telangana of India. It is likely to move further westnorthwestwards and weaken gradually.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 36.5 degree Celsius at Rangamati and lowest temperature today was recorded by 22.5 degree Celsius at Tetulia. Highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded by 42 millimeters(mm) at Khumarkhali.
